I’m Melissa Walker, the founder, heart and soul of Honeybee Floral Design. As the owner and lead designer, I bring my unique talent, creativity, and love for flowers to every event.
Fun fact: The name Melissa means “Honeybee” in Greek, which perfectly encapsulates my passion for flowers.
As the owner of Honeybee Floral Design, I pride myself on my enthusiasm and passion for floral design. I am known for being a loud and enthusiastic person, with a constant stream of ideas flowing through my mind. I love to make people smile and laugh and I strive to spread positive energy wherever I go. Creating beauty and bringing more love into the world is my mission. I believe that flowers are the perfect tool to achieve that.
Working with my hands is one of my greatest joys, especially when it comes to creating floral arrangements. Flowers have the power to make us all smile, and my personal style reflects this joy and vibrancy. I love bold colors and patterns, but comfort is also key. So you’ll often see me sporting a bright graphic tee paired with my favorite Adidas shoes and a pop of color on my lips.

How It All Began
After having spent several years in the event industry, I developed a genuine love for the art of floral design. Crafting exquisite bouquets, arrangements, and décor and witnessing the joy and gratitude of clients was immensely fulfilling. After years of hard work, I realized that I could pursue this passion on my own and decided to embark on this journey.
My friends and family hold a special place in my heart. I aspire to inspire my two boys to follow their passions and achieve their goals by setting an example through hard work and dedication to this craft. I am driven to succeed and make my loved ones proud.
